New heat protectant!

About 1 year ago I asked my hair dresser if she could recommend me a good heat protectant. She immediately answered SILK! Basically you can buy serums with silk in them. The one she recommended to me was Silk Therapy by BioSilk. I bought a small bottle from her but it was quite expensive - 15$.
After finishing that bottle I started trying less expensive options like the Got2b smooth operator Satin drops. This product is a way cheaper alternative to the BioSilk one and it works just as well.
All in all, I prefer these kind of heat protectants way beter than the spray ones because they protect AND make my hair silky and shiny (in a good way). I really recomend serums to protect your hair from heat styling.

Review - got2b guardian angel vs crazy sleek

I've used guardian angel for about 1 month. I didn't find it helped my split ends one bit. Plus, it was really elongating my morning ritual. I had to wait for the stuff to dry on every layer of hair I straightened before I could start. Another downer is that I kept spraying product on my face by accident: this stuff is sticky and broke me out. BAD. The only thing I like about this product is that it really did a great job at keeping my hair straight all day long, without having to use any hairspray.

I'm not going to re-purchase this product in the flattening kind but maybe I'll try it in the curling kind, as I do this less often.

I've been using crazy sleek for about 3 weeks now and I love it. I use this every night after I shower. I spray about 4 sprays of product in my hands, rub them together and apply it to the ends of my hair. I let my hair dry naturally for 15 to 30 minutes and then blow dry. After that a use my flay iron and voila!

I wouldn't use this for curling your hair as it weights it down, but for straightening it's great stuff. I find my split ends have really gotten better. Plus, the scent isn't bad either. I don't really know how I can describe it... Kinda sweet, maybe a bit orange-ey.

Over all, I recommend this product.

Both these products can be found in your local drugstore.

I hope this review was helpful!

Lush!

So I've recently discovered Lush. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's basically a bath and shower product store. Everything is hand made and just amazing. It's also a great gift idea if you don't know what to buy for a friends birthday or even for a family member.

I've recently bought a bar of soap there called Honey I Washed the Kids. It smells amazing! It's described as a honey and caramel scent. I usually don't like soap bars but the scent was so amazing I had to buy one!

And there's so much more I want to try there, from bubble bars to massage bars to bath bombs!

Thell me what you favorite product from lush is and why!
